Curtis is the youngest member of the team, and started racing in February 2004. For most of 2004 he campaigned a Losi XX4 car, and did extremely well to win the Bury Metro Club summer series for 4 wheel drive cars. Later in 2004, Curtis made the switch to 2 wheel drive with a Losi XXX KE, and set to work getting used to the new class, which is faster than 4 wheel drive, but the cars are a lot more difficult to drive. For the 2005 season, Curtis changed to the Associated RC10 B4 chassis, and had a remarkable year. He was unfazed by racing at Regional level and his results got better and better all year. 2005 highlights for Curtis included being named one of the "Drivers of the Weekend" at the York regional, and finishing a superb 10th in the under 13's NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.
Allen.........
Allen has a huge amount of experience in both driving and maintaining radio controlled cars. He started racing in 1983, at Urmston Radio Car Club with a 1/12th scale stock car - a discipline in which he still competes today. Allen then concentrated his efforts into being mechanic for Rob during the mid and late 1980's, a period which saw some success on the Regional buggy stage. Allen then raced buggies himself into the early 90's, after Rob had hung up his transmitter. Allen returned to the sport in 2004, and has campaigned a number of different chassis along with acting as the team principal mechanic. For 2006 Allen will use the Associated RC10 B4, and will compete at Club and Regional level alongside Curtis and Rob.
Rob.............
Like Allen, Rob began by racing 1/12th scale stock cars at Urmston, but really flourished once he took to the controls of a 1/10th scale buggy. Between 1984 and 1988, Rob enjoyed a good deal of success in the Northern Regional Championship, resulting in a sponsorship package from Bury Model Shop and qualification for the British Championship finals. In 1988 Rob moved on to full sized motor racing, but returned to the radio controlled buggy scene in 2004 when son Curtis began his racing career. Rob had a good 2004, campaigning the Losi XXX KE to 3rd place in the Bury Metro club summer series. Rob made the switch to the Associated RC10 B4 for 2005, and saw the results improve as the season progressed. Highlights of 2005 for Rob included finishing 24th overall at the York regional and seeing Curtis make such terrific progress.
